Colophon

Suckahs.org was comissioned in july 2001. This weblog was launched on 23 September, 2001 at 04:37 AM, using Moveable Type as the publishing engine. (I folded in older entries from my Blogger account, dating back to 11 July, 2000 at 12:59 PM.)

    XHTML + CSS

I heart web standards, and do my best to adhere — but I'm sure this site doesn't fully validate. Validation isn't everything in this world...

    XHTML CSS 508

    Randomized Photos

    shitty architecture

The radomized photos that appear at the top right are scenes of Central Square, Cambridge. I took these photos with a 2MP Sony Digital camera, one morning, when I was unemployed during the winter of 2001-02. Cambridge is my home, and I love living in such an ethnically and economically diverse place.

    Logotype

The Logotype is set in Bembo, the official typeface of my alma matter. I had to use it for everything when I worked there, and I still think it's classy. The First Letter 'N' is set in Alison, a freeware typeface that I can't recommend enough.

    Typefaces

    • Text is Georgia
    • Titles are all-Caps Palatino

    • Sidebar is Lucida Grande (or for you PC users, Arial)

Anyway, why do people have a colophon page on their websites? It's so boring!
